Canadian Mental Health Association Manitoba and Winnipeg presents the CMHA Well-Being Learning Centre, an innovative mental health and well- being campus offering a wide range of courses designed to support positive mental health and well-being and the recovery journey.
Our centre operates on the belief that everyone can experience recovery and thrive within healthy and supportive communities.
Based on a Recovery College model, the CMHA Well-Being Learning Centre environment is one of inclusion, equality, and diversity.
We welcome all people with lived experience, family members, friends, service providers, and individuals looking to increase their knowledge, understanding and skills, and strengthen their well-being.
Wherever possible, course content is co-developed and co-delivered by people who have lived experience along with those who have professional experience. This approach provides a unique and rich learning experience for all students.
We acknowledge that we work in Treaty One Territory, at the crossroads of the Anishinaabe, Métis, Cree, Dakota and Oji-Cree Nations, and on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe peoples and the homeland of the Métis Nation
