The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is committed to promoting the protection, privacy, the proper collection and use of personal information in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) and the Personal Health Information Act (PHIA).
The data collected within the system will be used for site registration and maintenance (contact names, telephone numbers). CMHA Winnipeg will make use of the data for correspondence purposes related to registration, maintenance and financial controls including revenue reporting, insurance and revenue payments. The data may be used internally to maintain the site and for financial controls. Data collected may also be used to conduct analysis and evaluation, related statistic profiling and reporting activities.
The personal information that will be collected by CMHA will be used only for the purpose(s) for which it is collected, and will not be used in any other way without the owners consent. The information will be collected under authority of and in compliance with FIPPA and PHIA.
